It is with great pleasure & excitement that we announce that we have more interested companies & service providers than the total number of cabins.
Therefore, we will go with first pay goes!
It's great to have the knowledge that Lau is not left out.

Lau Islands Trade Shows 2010
Since the completion of my work with The Blue Continent TV Series, it's been a busy last 2 months.
I've been doing some other projects and am glad i'd taken up the challenge of being Event Manager for the Black Tie Event for the Suva Grammar Ex Students Association Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
I'm also very pleased to announce our next Lau Islands Trade Shows 2010 that will depart Lautoka Port (24th October - 31st October)on Blue Lagoon Cruises Vessel MV Nanuya Princess. We spend a day in each island with participant companies selling goods & services that are much needed after Cyclone Thomas visited the islands earlier this year.
We will be visiting Vanua Balavu, Cicia, Lakeba, Moala, Totoya & Matuku Islands and return to Lautoka on Sunday 31st October.
We have 16 cabins in total for sale, 8 of which are for product suppliers and 8 for service providers.
Investment costs are FJ$7500 for product suppliers and FJ$5000 for service providers. The costs include 1 cabin (2 people), all meals, sales venue set up, all marketing on the ground and in the urban centres, traditional protocols to be followed and ongoing awareness of the trip prior to, during and after the event. Product suppliers also have a 5 tonnes weight allowance for cargo they will be selling in each island.
We are praying for a once again success filled trip to the Lau Islands.

The Blue Continent TV Series - Fiji Episode

It's an exciting opportunity for me to be able to be the Facilitator for the film crew producing a new TV Series for The Travel Channel International called The Blue Continent.
The Blue Continent focuses on the people & culture of the Pacific Islands. This is the core of our tourism. Aside from us having the most beautiful beaches in the world, we also have the most welcoming people! A prized possession!
Filming began last week for the Fiji episode with us having to criss cross the Western Division in 4 days. A big Vinaka Vakalevu to the Fiji Beach Resort & Spa (managed by Hilton) on Denarau for having us for the duration of the 1st shoot.
Our 2nd segment of the shoot will focus on the Central Division with us interviewing a variety of personalities!
It is with hope that this TV Series will portray us: the people of the pacific for who we truly are - the most welcoming people on Earth!

Research, Research & More
2010 is proving to be a difficult year for trying to execute events that are created out of a simple idea. However, it is great to be able to have the time to thoroughly research on possible projects and keep in the background some of which could be done at a later date.
In doing so, we have just been able to seal a deal that would be fruitful and satisfying to our customer base here in Fiji.
Stay tuned for more.
